The Arabic Diploma Program is a 29-credit, fully online course of study that prepares students to read, understand, and engage with Arabic texts central to Islamic scholarship. Our structured curriculum builds foundational skills in Arabic grammar, phonology, and classical reading, leading to advanced comprehension of traditional Islamic literature.

Pathway to Enroll

​

A step-by-step guide to joining the Arabic Diploma Program:​

​

Step 1: Apply to IQOU Theological College

​​

Step 2: Acceptance into the College

  • Once admitted, you’ll gain full access to our academic platform, student services, and course registration system.

​​

Step 3: Meet with an Academic Advisor

  • Schedule a personalized advising session to review your goals, placement, and academic timeline.

​​

Step 4: Submit Internal Arabic Program Application

  • Eligible students may submit an Internal Application to declare Arabic as their focus and request admission to the program.

​​

Step 5: Placement Test

  • Eligible students must place into Tarteel of Holy Qur'an I (QUR 020). This ensures basic knowledge of the Arabic alphabet including proper pronunciation and articulation and writing each Arabic letter with proper form.

​​

Step 6: Acceptance into the Arabic Diploma Program

  • Receive formal acceptance into the program and begin your first Arabic course. Cohorts are guided and courses are offered throughout the year.
